Syed Ibrahim S.M is a Lead Software Engineer in Test at Freshworks with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a highly innovative and adventurous engineer who is always eager to explore new paths and find better solutions to problems. Syed started his engineering career at Karpagam College of Engineering (KCE) where he completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering in 2016. Currently, Syed is working as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Cisco where he is responsible for testing and automating all possible aspects of a SIP and VOIP based project named Packetsmart. He also works on Microservice-based projects and has experience in continuous integration (CI) automation and NETFLIX components testing. Syed has automated the complete network with simulation, REST API with Jmeter, and has ensured the capacity of the network. In the past, Syed has worked as a Core Member at Microsoft Lab, completed certification in networking in MEC and MVA, presented a paper in the International Conference, ICICT, in PSG College of Technology, and contributed innovative ideas to Accenture via the Accenture Jockey contest. He has also participated in and developed a real-time project in the Texas Instrument Innovation Contest. Syed's tech stack includes skills in testing, SDET, software engineering, senior software engineering, QA, CI/CD, microservices, and integration. He is highly skilled in automating software and has experience in testing and automating all possible aspects of a software given to him.
